Oskar Rieding was born in 1840 in Northern Germany; he died in Cilli (Hungary) in 1918. This easy concerto is often the first 'larger' work that students are assigned, and is an excellent introduction to concert literature. This edition is by violin pedagogue Franziska Matz, and it focuses on tone production and bow strokes. Includes fold-out pages.
