The duets in Book 2 (Grade 3-5) are Progressive and are intended to be used alongside any standard tutor book. The Duets are written to help the beginner student develop a good reading technique. The range of the notes used is only gradually extended and new note lengths are only steadily introduced so that the player has many duets to play which contstantly review notes and rhythms within an easy range. When the book has been successfully completed Book 3 - Intermediate, is a natural progression.
