Fernando Sor is the most important classical-romantic composer of guitar music. Among numerous works of a larger scale for this instrument, he also composed miniatures which give proof of his masterly skill. Among those are the 12 menuets op. 11 presented here. For those passages whose performance proves more difficult on the instruments used today, Dausend added simplified versions.
