This final volume in Liszt's Annİes de p¨lerinage in the Urtext edition by renowned Liszt scholar, Leslie Howard, contains the Troisi¨me Annİe - Italie S163, together with Trois Odes fun¨bres S516, S516a & S517. Although the Odes fun¨bres are not originally part of the Annİes they have been included in this volume because they form a musical and spiritual bridge between Annİes II and III. Together, these works demonstrate a character not met elsewhere in the great music literature of the nineteenth century. Includes preface, critical notes, original illustrations and historical texts.
