Best Foot Forward [CF:N100281]

Here is a concert march designed to please an audience and help the director teach. It starts out with the Concert Eb scale being played down rather than up. It is easier to play in that direction. There are interesting harmonies with secondary chords, moving to the relative minor in the middle section. The clarinets do not cross the break. 1st trumpet's highest note is C.
