This work, in a style reminiscent of Percy Grainger, uses the melodic content from two traditional lumberjack songs "Moosehead Lake" and "Blue Mountain Lake." Although based on the folk songs, the composition effortlessly depicts the energy of the lumberjack's work. A stupendous addition to the young band literature depicting the lives of these courageous men. (2:43)
