This Suite has five movements: Prelude, Aragonaise, Intermezzo, Les Dragons d'Alcala and Finale (Les Toreadors). Dr. Nordstrom utilizes the entire range of the viola, with most of the high range work in the Viola 1 part. This arrangement would make the perfect addition to a large viola gathering or school ensemble with some advanced players that would like to show off their tone and technical skills.
