Chatterbox! [HL:48024206]

A moto perpetuo showpiece, Chatterbox! was commissioned by Joo Yeon Sir for performance in the Young Artist Series at St John�Smith Square, London, in May 2016. The incessant babble implied by the title is aptly portrayed by the violin's spiccato bowing and chromatic figuration, as set against the boogie-woogie-style piano part. To add to the effect a metronome (set to 140 beats per minute) may be optionally be added. Alternative accompaniment for string orchestra is available on hire from Boosey & Hawkes.
