Christmas Medleys for Students includes favorite Christmas carols that have been skillfully combined into medleys that are perfect for recitals or other performances. Book 3 is arranged at the intermediate level with the pieces placed in approximate order of difficulty. Rhythmic challenges include playing in 6/8 and 9/8 meters, as well as playing changing meters. Key signatures are limited to two sharps or one flat. Technical challenges include playing a variety of articulations, playing with more hand and finger independence than at earlier levels, and playing blocked and broken triads and their inversions.
