Church Windows [Alf:00-GBM0105]

Nine familiar hymn tunes are used as the basis for this collection, inspired by a sermon series on the windows in the sanctuary of the composer's church. Barr has brilliantly depicted scenes of baptism, communion, foot washing, the cross, and more in a wide variety of musical styles. Hymn tunes included are: Veni Creator * Fischer * Let Us Break Bread * Maryton * Morning Hymn * Serenity * St. Peter * Open My Eyes * Crucifer. This collection will be useful throughout the church year.
