This powerful setting of Psalm 95 employs all forces in a song of praise. The work is written in ABA form -- the homophonic B section for choir and optional cantor contrasts with a brilliant toccata in 12/8, requiring a good organist for performance. The optional brass quartet and percussion (available separately) punctuate this forceful work. An organ transcription entitled VENITE! is also available (GSTC9519 - $3.50), providing the perfect prelude or postlude to round out any festival service.
