Come to the Table of the Lord [Alf:00-18030]

Come to the Table of the Lord is a Communion anthem that may be performed throughout the year and especially during Holy Week. Suggested corresponding lectionary readings include Exodus 12: 1-14, Psalm 116, Matthew 26: 17-25, Mark 14: 12-25, Luke 22: 7-13, John 13: 1-30 and 1 Corinthians 11: 23-36. One basic homiletical theme is accepting the invitation to join with all the Christians in holy Communion at the Lord's table.
