"Cruel, tangled crown, woven of thorns; crimson drops of blood where His flesh was torn; cruel, tangled crown of thorns, piercing His brow. Could it be my hands that pressed it down?" Thus begins this emotional anthem, which asks the questions: Could it be my hands that pressed in the crown of thorns? Could it be my hands that drove in the nails? And, finally, what held our Savior to the cross - could it be His boundless love for us? A moving anthem for Lent or Holy Week.
