Dramatic Rhapsody [Alf:00-47890]

This solo begins in G minor with a bold chordal fanfare and sweeping arpeggios. The following lyrical section builds to a faster scherzo-like tempo with descending broken chords over a staccato bass. Descending octaves usher in a new theme in G major that continues to build to the end where thundering octaves, big chords, and a descending glissando end the piece.
