El C³ndor Pasa (The Condor Passes), composed by Peruvian songwriter Daniel AlomĴa Robles, is a musical play known as a zarzuela.. Its parade scene features the eponymous orchestral piece, which was first performed at the Teatro Mazzi in Lima. The melody has spawned thousands of versions and become the second national anthem of Peru. This version for concert band was arranged by Paul Yoder.
