Elegy [CF:114-41342]

Known for such critically-acclaimed double bass works as Ballade and Dance of Life, the latter of which was recorded by Eugene Levinson, Behzad Ranjbaran has reworked the slow movement of his Concerto for Cello (114-41056) to create a new double bass recital piece. Elegy is a perfect recital piece in a deep espressivo style; very suitable for memorial concerts. This publication includes piano parts for standard bass tuning as well as a transposed piano part for concert tuning. Elegy is also available on rental for Solo Contrabass with String Orchestra, or String Quintet with Harp and English Horn.
