This festive introit will make a stirring introduction to Easter (or general) services. A soloist, either a cappella or with organ and pealing handbell accompaniment, makes the first statement of the theme, which is echoed antiphonally by the other ensembles. Voices, organ and brass join together in the middle section, and handbells chime in for the final 'Alleluia.' Handbell and brass quartet included in score.
