Best-known as a Latin jazz composer and pianist from Buenos Aires, Carlos Franzetti has also created a dazzling wealth of symphonic and recital works blending the richness of both worlds. His work has won 6 Grammy® and Latin Grammy® awards. Franzetti’s 5-minute SERENATA has become a crossover classic which may be played exactly as written, or with interpretive freedom. Franzetti has transcribed SERENATA for many other scorings, including wind quintet, and as a solo with string accompaniment.
