Frolic [Alf:00-881494]

This light, quick-paced piece is given a dance-like feel by the staccato, 3/4 meter technique, in which most of the piece is played above Middle C. There is a refreshing, modern harmonic movement, and the middle section gives the song a nice legato contrast to the main theme. The "scherzo" is completed with the return to the main theme and a humorous ending.
