This is a short and brilliant piece by the Italian oboe virtuoso Antonio Pasculli (1842 - 1924) whose name is familiar to every oboist. The composition consists of one movement, and its arrangement resembles a perpetual motion machine - which makes high demands on both the technique and stamina of the player. This edition is based on the first edition published by G. Ricordi.
