Heart of Fire celebrates exemplary people who seem almost superhuman in not only their passion for a certain purpose, but also their perseverance in accomplishing their goal ? a cause they feel so strongly about that they will let no obstacle stand in their way. The theme features driving energy and relentless pace, while the contrasting lyrical middle section floats in an otherworldly serenity. This band version is the composer’s arrangement of the original work for string orchestra.
