A voice cries out, 'In the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord.' Lloyd Larson has crafted an inspired, dynamic new musical setting of well-known Advent prophecies from Isaiah 9: 2 and 40: 1-5. Antiphonal voices call and respond with the word of God, leading to a partnering of the new tune with Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence. Also appropriate for the baptism of Jesus, with keyboard and percussion (optional, part included).
