Inspired by a sermon at the Perry's home church, this anthem flowed from the creative talents of the husband/wife team. In a contemporary Christian vein, the work begins with a solo leading into the chorus that is the foundation of the piece: 'Fear not, for I am with you; let not your heart be troubled or afraid. Fear not, for I am with you, to guide you and show you the way.' Both voicings include a minimum of divisi in the parts.
