John Brimhall's Pre-Band Instrument Method is a beginning classroom method for Recorder or other C melody instruments, including Flutophone, Song Flute or Tonette. Accompaniment chords are supplied for Autoharp or Guitar. Lesson by lesson, new notes are introduced, along with the music fundamentals necessary to support each of the 49 familiar songs. There is a fingering chart illustrating each new note. The book contains solos, duets, trios, quartets, and rounds. Various band and orchestra instruments are introduced throughout.
