Or there were suddenly tone colours in my head, chords that I just had to play again and again – my ears kept wanting to hear them ...” thus Jan Eric Müller-Zitzke describes the genesis of his improvisations. Catchy themes and motifs are artistically woven, flow into one another, develop further and captivate listener and player alike. Each piece breathes its creator’s joy of playing, and a wide range of emotions are expressed. Müller-Zitzke studied piano and composition at Detmold and has won several composition competitions.
