The thrill of finding a penny is recreated through fun lyrics and an energetic melody. Middle C position and dividing the melody between the right and left hands makes this solo accessible for young students. An optional duet accompaniment helps to keep the piece moving in 4/4 meter and provides harmonic interest. Any young student would be lucky to be assigned this solo!
