Medley of Grace [Alf:00-27857]

What a delightful partnering of three 19th century American folk hymn melodies! This medley opens with Jerusalem, My Happy Home. The middle and final verses are two tunes to which the text of the beloved Amazing Grace is sung. The lesser known tune, Martyrdom, appears first and then partners with the better known New Britain to close the medley. This expressive 2-part mixed arrangement combines them seamlessly, with profound simplicity.
