Hopson has transcribed Pachelbel's baroque gem into a masterpiece for two-part mixed voices. Both men's and women's voices have a turn at the cantus firmus and counter-melody, with all voices joining together in the final statement of praise. With a vocal range of only a ninth, this work is an excellent introduction to contrapuntal writing for both beginning and smaller ensembles.
