This work consists of 53 flexible time brackets with single sounds produced on one, two, three, or four strings, using a curved bow developed by Michael Bach. All time brackets overlap, so the composition may be performed as a sound continuum. Choice of durations, dynamics, and bow positions are left to the performer. Pitches include microtonal deviations, indicated by small arrows on the accidentals. One8 may be performed with 108, in which case the title changes to One8 and 108.
