Written by Iranian composer Amir Molookpour, this engaging work uses a mixture of traditional and folkloristic Persian music. The composer makes interesting use of various rhythmic and structural approaches, and also uses western compositional techniques in a very simple manner to bring the two diverse cultures closer together. An excellent change of pace for any program by a unique composer!
