The JOHN W. SCHAUM PRE-A SOLO BOOK is excellent for children who require more basic reading on the level of the Schaum Pre-A Book before continuing to the Schaum Red A Book. (We presuppose that the Schaum Pre-A or some other similar introductory material has been presented.) Teachers who believe in slow and sure progress will keep this book in mind for all young pupils.
