Step-wise motion characterizes this work, with pedal notes and chords that try (and eventually succeed) to bring you to a diatonic feeling, but Robinson plays with the harmony--reminiscent of Charles Ives--by sometimes implying different keys in the voices than in the manual or the pedal of the organ.
