Rio Toccata [Alf:00-3072]

Rio Toccata is an exciting, contemporary style, 8-page solo, designated to be played in a "Driving and bright" manner, and featuring shifting accents, varied touches, extremes of loud and soft dynamics, and a wide use of the keyboard. The middle section has the pianist playing "cantabile" and features the left hand for the melodic line. This composition would make a dramatic showcase for a great variety of the pianist's skills.
