Romance for horn in F and piano by Alexander Scriabin was edited by Joseph Singer. He wrote it for the celebrated horn player Louis Savart between the Years 1894-1897. The original pencil manuscript was found (circa early 1940s) in the Scriabane museum in Moscow and is listed among his posthumous works. The melody is rather simple and direct in quality and has the limpid quality of a Chopin piano nocturne. (MCA Music)
