Shimmering Prelude [Alf:98-W9199]

This lovely, expressive piece opens with a tribute to J.S. Bach's Prelude No.1, from Book 1 of the Well-tempered Clavier, then builds to a rich and powerful chordal section. These two musical ideas alternate throughout. The piece features legato pedal, R.H. scale passages, cross-hand arpeggios, and chord inversions in both hands.
