Francis Poulenc (1899-1963) composed the Sonata for Horn, Trumpet and Trombone (Sonate pour Cor, Trompette et Trombone) in 1922, and it was premiered on January 4, 1923, at the Thİ˘tre des Champs-‰lysİes on concert dedicated to the music of Poulenc and Erik Satie. The trio was well received at the premiere and after, but it became popular after it was recorded by the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble. Trumpet parts in both C and B-flat are included. Reprint edition.
