Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) completed his Symphony No. 25 in G minor, K. 183/173dB in October of 1773, when the young composer was only 17 years old. One of two symphonies Mozart wrote in G minor, this one is sometimes referred to as the "Little G minor Symphony," with the "Great G minor Symphony" reserved for his Symphony No. 40. K. 550. The first movement was famously used as the opening music for director MiloĊĦ Forman's 1984 film Amadeus. This critical edition is by Hermann Beck.
