Three Susato Dances from <i>The Danserye</i> [Alf:81-F15104]

Susato Dance Suite (from Danserye) was taken from a much larger suite originally for four recorders, now arranged for six flutes. Style is everything with these short pieces---brilliant fortes are contrasted with smooth lyrical playing. The ensemble must work together to match articulations, dynamics, and style. There is an optional percussion part which would add a lot to the sonority of the ensemble, but is not required.
