The editor Cor Kint (1890-1944) taught violin, viola and viola d'amore at the Amsterdam Conservatory. In 1937 he published with Musikverlag Zimmermann the Quantz Sonata after the manuscript copy in the Prussian State Library in Berlin. Kint was an internationally recognized authority for the viola d'amore.
