Two Rhapsodies was rescored for oboe, viola and piano by Charles Martin Loeffler (1861-1935) in 1901 from his Rapsodies for voice, clarinet, viola and piano. It was inspired by two poems by Maurice Rollinat. Movements: I. L’Etang (The Pool), II. La cornemuse (The Bagpipe).
