A new look at a venerated staple of the musical repertoire, Voluntary (often attributed to Henry Purcell) breaks new ground. Parts for younger string players have been included in score and parts so that conductors can introduce those players to the full orchestra setting. These performers are a critical part of the experience as they often are the only ones with the melody.
