This traditional American folk hymn from John G. McCurry's acclaimed collection, The Social Harp (1835), has inspired composers throughout the years, including Aaron Copland. This flexible 2-part arrangement captures the simple joy of the 19th century camp meeting, as the singers call to one another, "Come, brothers and sisters, come, join us in singing the praises of Zion!"
