These are not melodies to be hurried, but to be savoured as a glass of wine. The 2 descants share the melodies, turn and turn about, with the bass adding rhythmical and harmonic underpinning. Care has been taken in tuning the descant parts, being in such close harmony and being distanced from the bass parts, but the overall effect is pleasing.
