When Calvin Hampton died in 1984 the church lost a gifted friend and musical ally. He wrote much wonderful music for worship and this is one of his best. In Sheldon Curry's newly arranged SAB voicing, an optional flute obbligato is added, however the vital congregational involvement of the original is retained.
