Advent Promise is a beautiful setting of Advent prophecies found in the book of Isaiah. Suggested corresponding lectionary readings include Psalm 80: 1-7 & 17-19, Isaiah 7: 10-16 and 9: 6-7, Matthew 1: 18-25 and Romans 1: 1-7. Once basic homiletical theme is the promise of salvation through God's incarnation in Jesus Christ.
