Meant to be the 'North Carolina equivalent of Brahms' HUNGARIAN DANCES,' this virtuoso work takes the form of theme (a sort of 'barn dance' fiddle tune) and variations (including ones in jig, waltz, march, ballad, R&B, jazz, bossa nova and reggae styles). Written for violinist Boris Kucharsky.
