Karl Höller (1907-1987) came from an old Franconian family of musicians. He made his first attempts at composition at the early age of 5. In the beginning, his father taught him how to play the organ, later on, he studied the subjects organ, composition and theory. He was a student of Joseph Haas. Caesar Flaischlen (1864-1920) was a lyricist, narrator and actor.
