Written for Jerry's son Christopher, this tuneful, even-8th ballad for advancing groups features flugelhorn throughout. It begins and ends with rubato style cadenzas. In between, the soloist has plenty of room to improvise or play the written solo lines provided. This is a great vehicle to showcase your star trumpet player at a jazz festival. A guitar chord chart by Jim Greeson is included, and rhythm section parts are notated. Duration ca. 5:30.
