This volume presents divisions by Bassano (1591) and Dalla Casa (1584) on two six-part chansons, which, like many pieces chosen by the Italians for diminution purposes, go back well into the first half of the 16th century. The two pieces here are A La Fontaine and Arousez Vo Violette. A copy of LPMREP8a is also included which contains score & parts for 6 voices/ instruments.
