3 Dances -sc. Contributors: Dowland. Recorder with Guitar (S/A/T,G). Score. Publisher's category: Recorder with Guitar.

John Dowland (1563 - 1626) was an English, possibly Irish-born composer, singer, and lutenist. He is best known today for his song "Flow, my tears" - usually called simply "Lachrymae".
The following pieces are solo works for the lute which are among the best known of John Dowlands compositions and, as such, have also come down to us with other titles and in different arrangements.
If the pieces are performed by alto recorder and Renaissance lute in G, they sound a minor third higher than written. A transposed recorder part, prepared by Hans Martin Linde, has therefore been supplied with this edition.
